Summer Grant Cycle

Foundation for Roanoke Valley awards grants for a broad array of charitable purposes to benefit the communities we serve. All qualified charitable organizations within the geographic areas listed below are eligible to apply to the funds listed below if your program meets the Fund's criteria.

PLEASE NOTE: Phase I Applications for The Roanoke Women's Foundation will not be accepted before March 1, 2013 and must be submitted by 4:00 p.m. on March 22, 2013. NO EXCEPTIONS!

PLEASE NOTE: Applications for Frances Parker Rupert Memorial Fund for Music and the Performing Arts, and Larry Woodrow Vest Fund will not be accepted before JUNE 3, 2013, and must be received by 4:00 p.m. on AUGUST 2, 2013.  NO EXCEPTIONS!

If asked to submit a Phase II Application, deadline will be June 3, 2013 by 4:00 p.m.

Primarily for citizens of:

  • Alleghany County
  • Bath County
  • Covington
  • Clifton Forge

August 2, 2013 by 4:00 p.m.

     
Larry Woodrow Vest Fund Preference for Floyd County August 2, 2013 by 4:00 p.m.

Foundation for Roanoke Valley uses an ONLINE grant application process.  No paper applications will be accepted.
