Priorities: Addresses broad needs of educational, child welfare and social opportunity programs. Advisors are particularly interested in innovative programs which leverage other monies and resources and which include a specific incentive to produce positive results. Requests which are multi-year (3 or 4 years), have a matching grant or challenge component are also appealing.

Geographical areas: The cities of Roanoke and Salem and Roanoke County

Typical Grant size: $2,000 - $5,000
